I went to Sassy Scrapper on Friday and bought the new paper packs from Basic Grey!! If you have not seen the new URBAN COUTURE line then you have to seek it out and buy it! It is wonderful! I bought the last one at the Scrapper but I am sure that they will be getting more in stock soon.
More great purchases: Simple Scrapbooks' "The Big Picture" is a great book! It has great journaling, ideas and organizing tips. I especially love the way that she organizes her scrapbooks. My second recommendation is the "Designing with Paper" by Autumn Leaves. This book has a lot of unique scrapbook pages and is not the same old thing I have been seeing everywhere lately. I am sure that Ann has these at Scrap It! as well. There is plenty to scraplift here!
Scrappucino (spelling?) now has a house that they are renting for your scrapping pleasure! It is a three bedroom house in Joelton. It sounds like a great idea. It rents for $130 per night. May sound like alot until you factor in that it will be split between 6-8 people.
Sassy Scrapper is hosting the HOP, CROP & SHOP TOUR. You meet at Sassy Scrapper for muffins and coffee and take a bus to visit four scrapbook stores (including the Sassy) in one day. Includes boxed lunch and light dinner. You will visit the following:

Well, I think that is all of the news for now! My kids are starting their two week spring break tomorrow so pray for me!! LOL....

Hey!!
I wanted to start out by clarifying that Evan's teeth (see prior post) were both loose. Apparently there has been some concern over this...sorry for any abject horror anyone experienced picturing them flying out of his mouth without being loose at all!

Speaking of teeth flying out of mouths, at the hockey tournament this weekend during one of the games one of the referees flew into the wall and had three teeth broken off (I do not believe his teeth were loose prior to hitting the wall). He had to have three root canals and over twenty stitches! They halted the game for about ten minutes while the coaches looked for all of the pieces of his teeth. It was quite a grim reminder of how tough the game of hockey can get.

Speaking of the hockey tournament, did I mention that we WON??? WHOO HOO!! Girls, I can not tell you how excited the boys were...we went from a losing team in 2005 to a winning group of determined boys at the turn of the new year. They were just thrilled to win such a large tournament (Country Western Showdown- teams all over the southeast) and as soon as the buzzer rang they all threw their sticks and gloves into the air and jumped into one big pile!

Okay, enough of my personal life and onto the Scrapping World. I went into Scrap It! last night and it was like a wonderland. Luckily I had my puppy with me so I could not carry much. Seriously, if any of you have not been in lately you need to go. She has a lot of new paper in stock not to mention everything else!

EXCITING NEWS!!
Some of you may not have heard that I now have the Pazzle's Cutting Machine. This means that I can cut custom titles. Need a title saying "Smith Family Reunion"? Let me know and I will whip it right up for you! I will also be able to cut chipboard as soon as I figure it out! I plan on having that down this weekend so that I will be able to grant all of your wishes at my next crop! Give me a call (615-335-5529) if you would like to order a title or titles. I will post some pics. of samples soon.

Hi! Welcome to my BLOG!! I must admit that I have NO idea what I am doing so I hope you will all bear with me and meander through my mistakes with me!

You may be asking yourself.....Amy, why a blog? Heck I don't know!! Everyone was getting one! Scrap It got one, Jenni Bowlin got one!! I wanted an Oompa Loompa...err, Blog....too!!

What am I going to talk about? How would I know? I am telling you I just had to have one for my very own! I am going to love it and squeeze it and...ooh sorry, got sidetracked once again!

Want to know some news? My Evan finally lost his other front tooth! He has been walking around looking like Nanny McVee. Thank goodness his friend helped him by kicking it out of his mouth in the McDonald's Play Area. Want to know something funny? He lost his other front tooth when his friend next door kicked it out of his mouth when they were on the trampoline! Nice they are gone but let me tell you something, I hope none of his other friends kick any more of his teeth out because the Tooth Fairy had paid him VERY WELL for the first tooth that was kicked out. He fully expected the same amount when the second tooth left him! I will go broke if any more of his teeth are kicked out so please, if you bring your children over, please ask them to watch their feet!!

CROPS?? Why does everyone keep asking me about crops? You guys know this hockey schedule is KILLING me!! See the picture? That is Alex and he is the reason I have not had any crops lately! I am going to have one in March though... I promise...I am not lying....you can count on it...really, I won't back out this time.....I am truly committed....
